How can I delete my Facebook "linked" contacts?

It is now 2017 and there is no Facebook option in the contacts settings. Ideas?

I would like an answer to this as well. With iOS11 I can’t figure out how to turn off the integrated Facebook contacts either. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I cannot seem to delet my Facebook contacts out of my contact list. I have iPhone 7

You can unlink them, but you cannot delete them.

Go to contacts, find the contact that you want to modify, tap it, tap edit, then scroll to the bottom. It will show your linked contacts. Tap the red icon to the left of the linked facebook contact.

Only gives me a green + sign. When you hit the delete button says linked Facebook contact will not be deleted

In the Contacts app go to the Group section and uncheck the FB group. The FB contacts will no longer show in your Contacts.

I've tried everything! And I've googled this topic many times! I'm extremely annoyed with this syncing nonsense. I've turned off contacts in my iPhone settings under the Facebook. I've restarted my phone, I've looked through my Facebook settings and nothing!

I tried going to my contacts and looking for "Facebook Group" but I can't find any groups in my contacts. On the top left corner, there's a "refresh button, and on the top right corner, there's only a "add new contact" button :( please help!

Go to SETTINGS>Facebook>uncheck sync contacts.
