iPod touch 5 release date news

So many of you probably already know this if you have been following the iPods release date, you have probably noticed the iPod has gone from a pre order state to buy now, as with what happened on the iPhone 5 release. If you can share anything such as a video to help prove that it is truly out and people haven't, that would be amazing. When it says I ships in October, I think that meant the first day, considering it isn't pre order anymore and I think resellers get it at around the middle of October, since I saw a shopping site that said it was due to be in stores on october 15.

Mine says that it will be shipped in 5-7 business days. And thats yesterday, today and monday. Today it changed to making ready for shipment. Does anyone know about how long it takes to go from making ready to actually getting shipped?

I just checked both Walmart and Best Buys websites, it looks like it maybe another week until they have them available to buy in store.

Don't know what you guys are saying about the stores not having the m, but I went to my local apple store in Melbourne just over a week ago and got mine, trust me, don't wait for Walmart, Kmart, jb-hi-fi, BigW or any other shops to get them. Ring you locale apple store because they are the only ones that will have them, apple had only shipped stock to their apple stores or people who pre ordered online.
