Yours must be one of the first ones. I had mine engraved and it still says "Processing Items" so I guess it might take an extra day or so.

If you really received a shipping e-mail, I challenge you to post it here. I talked to Apple yesterday, and their customer service team had no clue about a release date. I'd trust them more than some nameless person on the Apple forums.

Now that you have everyone worked up about your "shipping" e-mail, put up or shut up!

Unbelievable. I ordered mine on Sept. 14, and as of 2 minutes ago my status is still Processing. That's a new one on me...Mexico orders being shipped before USA orders.

Recycling fees are usually charged when there's some kind of law which requires companies to pay for the materials which could be recycled (not necessarily when there's a trade in). I did not get charged one, and I think the only US jurisdiction which might charge a recycling fee up front is California. Other than that, I can't see how some of these other people got charged for a recycling fee. Weird...

im quite sure the recycling fee is only in Canada. I got charged for it
