I lost my iPod how can I find it

My home was burglarized and they took my iPod and I was wondering if there is any way I can locate it?

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6

If you installed the "Find My iPhone/iPod" app on your iPod and set it up with iCloud you will be able to locate your device if it is near/connected to a WiFi. You may also remotely lock the device and wipe off all the contents. If not there is not too much you can do.

More detail

- If you previously turned on the FIndMyiPod feature and location service is on, and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud, sign in, and go to FindMyiPhone. It the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

- Report to police and change the passwords fro all accounts used on the iPod.

- Apple will not help
