Will WebGL by supported on the iPad3?

I tryed to look at a WebGL app using the iPad 3 with Safari. I got an error message pretending that WebGL is not supported on my browser (Safari). Is there any way I could display Web GL content on an iPad?

iPad, iOS 6

WebGL is not supported on Safari on the iPad or iPhone.

Currently, the only way to use WebGL on an iPad is through an iAd, or by hacking around with private APIs in native code (not something you'll be able to push out to the App Store).

Hopefully Apple will bring WebGL to mobile Safari sometime, but your guess is as good as mine as to when that's likely to happen. It's not even switched on by default in the desktop version of Safari yet...
