My Ipad won't save bookmarks in Safari - any suggestions?

It's so weird because last night, pretty much 24 hours after the problem first occured, all of my bookmarks were restored. Haven't tried saving new bookmarks although I'm assuming that if that problem's still happening, it'll mysteriously fix itself 24 hours later as well.

The most feasible solution available for this problem is to have a reset on your iPad. It can be performed with the help of Sleep/Wake and Home buttons. Press those buttons simultaneously and hold down for about 15 seconds. Remain in that position even when you see the red slider on the screen during this period. Once you can view the Apple Logo on the screen, release your fingers from both buttons. You can get into the home page after a few seconds. Then, check whether the bookmarks are restored and ‘add bookmark’ function works fine.

Same thing happened to me last night! Actually, ALL of my bookmarks were deleted - I'm not sure how - and now I can't even rebuild my folders because nothing's saving.
