    THANKS FOR THE LINK,BUT THE AIRPORT UTILITY ON MY MAC AIR RUNS VERSION 6.0,THE LINK WORKS WITH AIRPORT 5.6,WHICH HAS A SLIGHTLY DIFF MENU.

    MY MAC AIR WONT LET ME DOWNLOAD 5.6! IM STILL STUCK!

    OK - I understand - I am a Windows guy so I still use 5.6.1 - there is still a guide me function in 6.0 and it would work with the connections outlined in the link - but if you want to do it manually use the following values - set up the Express as a bridge (DHCP and NAT off) - if you connect via ethernet you would choose "create" a wireless network and put in the same name and password and security type as the Extreme - if you want to extend wirelessly, choose that option and enter the same info - both options can be done with the Express attached to the Extreme but if you are extending wirelessly, disconnect the Express just besfore updating or you might get feedback to the Extreme and shut down the network temporarily until you do so - I know this is confusing but it will eventually work - if you you get bogged down let me know
