Complete my album after buying single -- not in same folder

Theres a really annoying issue that occurs when completing an album after downloading a single.

If you download the single from the actual single release, and not the album itself it allows you to complete the full album. When it organizes it in the music app it shows the album (sans the single) and then a separate folder for the single iteself.

If you complete an album from the single it should be able to integrate the two. I dont want to have to make a new playlist just to make a full album, nor do I want to listen to the album and have the single missing from it.

I agree. I'm having this same issue. I would have gladly paid an extra .99 to actually have a complete album instead of being left with an album missing a track and the single listed separately. I understand that I can go to my computer and re-label the single so it's listed with the album. But 99% of the time I'm only on my phone and not my computer. Currently I'm at work, stuck with an album that I can't listen completely through without stopping after the one track, going to the other then back to the album. Ridiculous.

Thats not true at all.. iOS 5 introduced computerless iPhone:

PC-Free

iTunes/USB no longer needed to activate new devices via a computer.
New welcome screen when using the device for the first time (or after resetting a device).
Ability to start fresh with no need to tether it to iTunes. Option to restore all data on a device from an iCloud backup through a simple iCloud sign in.
Ability to wirelessly sync to iTunes over Wi-Fi added (an initial tethered sync is needed to pair them together and the setting must be enabled in iTunes).
OTA delta updates: from iOS 5 forward, devices can now self-update the system software right on the device itself through Wi-Fi or 3G; no iTunes or computer needed.

Sorry about your frustration... Here's the deal, they are two seperate purchases, and will list accordingly. Your solution?... Go into iTunes on your computer, and change the "info" or album propeties to match with the full album. They will then become one album. Good luck!! Cheers!

This would only work if you use your computer to handle your purchases. What can you do in the case that I don't use my computer? Apple has been selling the fact that you never have to connect your phone.

You don't... but you HAVE to have itunes to have an iPhone... and you Have to have a computer to have an iPhone. Therefore, you have the ability to fix your poroblem...
