Q: Problem connecting external HDD

I have tried several times to connect a HDD to my Apple Airport extreme wireless router.

I have a Windows network (no Mac).

When I connect my HDD to the USB port of the router I can see the HDD is detected in Airport-Configuration program. But in the Airport Base Station Agent the drive is no detected nor is it detected in the Windows network.

I have the same problem at my brothers home with his Airport Extreme.

Did I forgot to do something or is there a special trick to get it to work under Windows??

PS: connecting a printer with Bonjour works perfectly, trying to connect the HDd I disconnected the printer from the USB, later I would like to use a USB-hub to connect printer and HDD
