My macbook pro is quiting every program...

i downloaded the mac combo update but it is not opening at all... what can i do? everything i do comes out with quit unexpectedly... so frustrating... I decided to reintal the snow leopard but dont have with me my CD... I am at the moment in turkey... I went to apple store to buy a new CD and they are a franchise here so they do not sale software... it is just like a non exit situation... PLEASE HELP!!
