wireless printing problems

Intermittently over past few weeks, iMAC running OS10.7 unable to connect to Brother HL-2280DW printer over wirless LAN. Click on a file to print, select destination printer, hit PRINT; printer icon showsup on left side of Desktop; click on icon and get such messages as "Printer is busy" or "Print file was not accepted." Tried the following fixes: updated Netgear router firmware and reset the LAN; updated OS 10.7; updated Brother firmware. Brother WLAN Report sometimes shows "Connection Failed (Error TS-06)." Brother lNetwork Configuration Report sometimes shows no values in fields for IP Address, Subnet Mask, or IP Gateway. System Preferences>Printers shows correct printer and shows that it is idle.

Another printer on the LAN is working properly and at least the other computer has been able to print to the HL-2280DW. The network has worked well with the two computers and two printers for at least a year. What went wrong? How to fix? Thanks.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3)
