Something wrong with Madagascar 3?

I just bought Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted from the iTunes Store. It's great, but there seem to be Portuguese subtitles hard-coded into the movie (regardless of how I have my subtitle options set). They only show up a few times, like when there's a newspaper headline, but I know I saw them. They happen whether I'm viewing the film on the AppleTV or on the computer. Has anyone else seen this? I reported the problem to Apple but I wanted to put it out here as well.

100% Agree, problem exists with other movies as well

I not only have this same problem, but the last two other movies I bought, For Your Eyes Only and Casino Royale, also have the same exact problem.

When I contact Apple by email they are polite and refund the money but the emails are just generic responses and I have no confidence that anyone is seriously looking into this problem.

I am not really concerned about the refund. I gave up my Blu-Ray collection to live a digital lifestyle and now it looks like a mistake since every film I download has the same problem. My subtitle settings in iTunes is set to off.

Please Apple, address this problem because it is affecting multiple customers and not just this one movie.

I think ALL of the movies that Apple has been adding, have this problem. It looks to be a STORE-WIDE PROBLEM. I bought 9 other Bond movies, and they have this problem as well!!!!!!

Fortunately, it's not like all the dialogue is subtitled. It's mainly when the title of the movie appears, plus any time there's a text caption. But it's still damned annoying. 😟

I am having this issues with the same movie, very annoying. As and exeriment, I turned on subtitles (Spanish) and the same caption would come up, but then dissapear. I also had a similar issue with Prometheus, showing captions when no subtitles are selected, but the words went away on their own. Both my Apple TV's are v1, with the latest software. Has anyone heard back from support with something useful yet?

I have the same problem.

When I am watching the movie, I keep getting subtitles in French or Protugese that pop up and will not go away. I have to stop the movie and continue where I left off in order to watch the movie. It happens whenever a sign or printed word shows up in the movie. I have subtitles turned off and this is very annoying. I requested that apple please update my movie or refund my money so I can buy the corrected version if this will fix the problem.

I have an Apple TV v1 that the subtitles stay on and on my other new Apple TV (latest version) they pop up and go away almost instantly.

Hopefully they fix this!
