Is this a good deal? (PowerMac G5 on CL)

Ive been talking to a guy on Craigslist and he is selling a PowerMac G5 Dual 1.8Ghz with 2.5gb of ram and 160gb hdd. It has OSX 10.4.11 installed, along with ilife 08 and Office 2004. It comes with a 17" cinema display with ADC connnector, the original keyboard, and a new mighty mouse. He says it is in 9.5 - 10/10 in condition. It also has all the boxes, manuals, and restore disks.

The asking price is $125... Is it a good deal? Thanks!

BTW - He is currently holding it for me for a couple days, so a quick reply would be great, thanks!

PowerMac, Mac OS X (10.4.11), Dual Proccesor, 2.5GB Ram, 1.8Ghz

It depends.

What are you planning to do with this G5?

It's a good deal for what it is, but that model Mac is from 2004. It's an eight year old computer.

What are your expectations?

Are you considering modding this G5?

You can increase the RAM yourself to 8 GBs as well as as install a larger HDD if you want to.

If you can find em, better graphics cards for this model

And you may want to consider upgrading the OS to the last OS X version that can run on PowerMacs

That's OS X 10.5 Leopard.

Is the seller including OS discs or his copy of OS X 10.4 Tiger?

You need these.
