How do I receive pictures with text (Messages)?
Someone texted me a picture and I cannot find it. I use "Messages" for texting. Can a photo be received there. Where does it go when it is sent to me?

It will appear in your text message conversation, just like any other text message. When you do this it's called MMS messaging. If it's not working for you go to Settings>Messages and make sure MMS Messaging is set to On. If it is and it still isn't working you'll have to call your carrier and make sure they have your messaging plan correctly provisioned for MMS.
