empty trash problems?

Hej,

Trying to delete all my 24.000 files in the trash. With absolutely no luck. I am the administrator of the Mac. Any suggestions ?

Can you move those files to a folder on your desktop? If you can, is the trash now empty?

Moved all files to desktop-folder, and then trash is empty. Seems, I can delete partial no of files. Trying to find max no. 24.000 fiels is a LOT
