URGENT PLEASE HELP IPHONE 4S

I have requested for a replacement (EMS) My phone has had no contact with any liquids but the sensor is pink on the headphone jack but the bottom sensor is fine, will i still be able to go through with this replacement and full refund? This is really made me worried because i have no had any contact with liquid will humid tempertures trigger it?
