Finder crash when clicking on a folder

I am at a loss what to try on this problem. Since updating my MBP 2.3 ghz i5 to 10.7.5 I get a consistent and repeatable Finder crash every time i click on or attempt to open my Pictures folder. I have run Disk Utility from a recovery Drive as well as Disc Warrior. Neither found any errors. I have a back-up but I can't even select the folder to delete it as I crash the Finder if I even highlight it.

Any suggestions?

I have the same problem since last upadate to 10.7.5 on my Imac 27 3,4-I7. Finder opens and works if I open a folder thru the sidebar but if I then try to open a folder inside that folder it crashes.

I have tried everything and it is anoying.

I have run Disk utility and repaired permissions, and repaired disk but it keeps crahsing.

I open the console and this is the error

Immediately after my last crash this is what was in the system.log:

Sorry, I was not being very clear. Under Lion the User's Account Library is not visable through the Finder sidebar. By having me hold down the Opt key it made the User Account Library visable. The root Library is where I looked and there is no finder.plist in the prefs folder.

Clicking on my Pictures folder or my User home folder in a Finder window sidebar causes a crash. Navigating to the Picture folder through a Finder window and clicking on it also causes a crash. I am however able to navigate to my user Home folder and open it. Where I used to be able to go to the Apple menu and drag down to "Network Prefs" that is now gone from the Apple menu. Deleting the FInder prefs fixed the click on Home folder in the sidebar crash but it has not fixed the click on Pictures folder crash.

Yes, the Finder also crashes in Safe Mode. I ended up fixing the problem just now by booting up from my Back Up (I am a finatic about backing up but had not since applying 10.7.5 on Monday). This allowed me to navigate to my Home folder on my internal HD and replace the Pictures folder with the one from my back up. Further, I was able to rebuild my Network settings and once I had done that and my Location sub-menu now shows in my Apple menu. I am guessing my Pictures fold somehow got corrupted and it is now finally working again.

Thanks for the input, it will come in handy if I ever have and issue like this again!
