iphone 4s lock button jammed!

Hey so I never droppped my iphone or gotten it wet, ive had it since december 25th (christmas) it's currently october 3rd... ive only had it for 10 months, and my lock button got jammed and doesnt work for nothing in the world... my dad did pay 50 dollar warranty, would apple be able to fix this problem without a charge?
