I am having trouble finding the apple software so I can download e-manuals. I am told that I should have apples version of JAVA already on my iMAC but cannot find it in applications. any ideas????????

Is Java activated in Safari Preferences/Security?
Look for JavaPreferences.app in Applications>Utilities. I think I remember Apple disabling the Safari Java plugin for security reasons in a relatively recent 10.5 update.
