How do I fix error 11111 when submitting my podcast?

This odd error has been popping up for some time. Try this URL instead:

https://buy.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/publishPodcast

This also happens for iTunes Canada and iTunes UK. Is there any way to submit a feed that will land in iTunes Canada as well as iTunes UK?

Podcasts land up everywhere. Just submit it as normal.

I'm getting the same error, even when I use the link Roger helpfully shared.

The feed I'm trying to submit is http://www.bleachernation.com/feed/podcast

I go to submit, iTunes just kind of hangs, and then finally it says "We could not complete your request, network time out, there was an error in the iTunes Store, please try again later."

I'm pulling my hair out ... any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid this is evidently a bug in the Store, and only Apple can solve it. You could try emailing them at poodcasts 'at' apple.com, but don't be surprised if you get a form email telling you how to submit a podast (which you already know). Your feed appears to be fine, by the way.

Even if they don't respond, I guess I'll just hope that it's a flukey bug that comes and goes, and I'll keep trying. Hate to think that I'll never be able to submit the podcast all because, in essence, the "submit" button doesn't work properly for a handful of people ...

I haven't read through all the answers, but I tried some of the suggestions... updated iOs, updated iTunes...Still got the error.

Then, I tried inputting the feed without the http:// in front of it. Just feeds.feedburner.com/ThreeSistersPodcast and shazzam! That worked!

Don't know if that was the key, but after trying a dozen times before with the full URL, taking off http:// worked for me. 🙂

I don't think the 11111 error is anything to do with that, it's just a server glitch. There is a bug in the system where you're told a feed you're trying to resubmit has been submitted before even though it's been rejected or removed. I do wish they'd fix it, it causes a lot of problems. The workaround is to change the title slightly, and if you can rename the feed file as well that helps. You could also change the 'link' tag to your website - you can change it back after the feed's been accepted, as you can with the title provided doing so doesn't change the feed URL as happens with some services.

Yeah, I got in contact with Apple, and that is what they told me to do....rename and change everything so that it has a different name from the last podcast I did. And guess what....it worked! The apple guy told me that I can go back in after the podcast is accepted and change it back to the initial name that I wanted and it wont cause a problem. Good stuff.
