Can a processor in an ipad be replaced?

Apple does not repair iPads, but will replace the entire iPad for a flat fee; see the Repair Pricing section here:

There are independent iPad repair services that may be able to do a repair for less, though since it entails replacing the main logic board, it's perhaps not likely. Do a web search for "ipad repair". Note, though, that if you elect to have the iPad serviced by an unauthorized shop, all further warranty will be void.

Any repair would be you paying the above fee for an out of warranty replacement (presuming your ipad is no longer covered by the warranty). they then send your broken device back to the factory where it's refurbished and becomes someone else's replacement. And if that's not possible, the parts are recycled.

An iPad isn't like a laptop for example where modular parts can be swapped out.
