Black ops and 360 controller

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to get the 360 controller to work with Black ops. I have the tattiebloggle driver and a wired 360 controller, the green light is on and the driver shows that all the controls are functioning but when I launch Black ops no response, I have went to control settings and the gamepad option is greyed out??

problem is that the app store states in its description that the 360 wired controller is supported??

any ideas fellow mac heads?

I got mine working, it's a driver problem, at first I installed the latest drivers from tattiebogle and that then allowed me to go into the 'gamepad' settings but once I restarted my Macbook and went back into Black Ops it allowed me to go into the options but when in the game the controller wouldn't work so aspyr replied with the below:

"Third party drivers are not supported for this game and will cause conflicts with the game and Microsoft's default drivers. Unplug your controller and delete the following:

HD/Library/Preference Panes/Pref 360 controller
HD/Receipts/Installer.plist
HD/Startup Items/360 Control Daemon
HD/System/Library/Extensions/360Controller.kext
HD/System/Library/Frameworks/Forcefeedback.framework

Restart your computer and empty the trash bin. Plug your controller back in and relaunch the game.

Aspyr Support"

To be fair Aspyr's support were really good and responded straight away.

Hope this helps

I just wanted to warn those of you who may not know this. By deleting the Forcefeedback.framework folder you will no longer be able to access steam if you have it installed on your OS.

If you have deleted the folder by any chance you will have to download the folder from this link:

http://www.4shared.com/zip/rFbUmFx7/ForceFeedbackframework.html

Otherwise you will have to re-install your OS. Just a heads up.
