MacBook Pro 2009 won't start (stuck on grey screen, clicking noise at restart) but will start in FireWire Target Disk mode. Host computer (iMac) shows many icons for target HD (first there was one, now there are 9 and counting) and empty files on target HD (eg, I can see Applications and Library and Users folders but their size is 0 kb). Is there anything to do for this problem or is it just another sign that my MacBook HD is dead?
