iCloud Notes Lockout

I had a problem connecting to my Photostream on my Apple TV due to the Terms of Service. So following a tip, I logged out of icloud on my Mac, and re-signed in. The iCloud settings panel forced me to create an iCloud email address to sync Mail and Notes. I already have a MobileMe account, which I can see has allocated me iCloud email addresses.

So on my Mac now, the Notes are synced to my iCloud email address, BUT, my Notes are actually stored (and available) via my MobileMe address on my iPad and iPhone.

How can I get my Notes on my Mac in-sync with my MobileMe address? It's all ****** up, and due to some stupid logic within Apple, bloody ****.
