i bought a new iphone 5
when i go to Setting i dont find Personal Hotspot
not even in settings - general - cellular .
what is the solution ?
i erased iphone couple of times to try to get it but didnt get it.
i tried to reset network settings and still didnt get it.
any solutions ?
i also contacted my carrier
they sayed its a problem in ur iphone not in the carrier because they allow it and most people use it.
any ideas people ?
And have you subscribed to a tethering plan?
yes i did
i contacted my carrier and they sayed its an issue to be solved by apple and the probleme is not from the carrier.
i asked a cellular technician
he holded my phone for a minute
and then he sayed wait a minute and it will be back.
after a min personal hotspot is back to its same place.
how ? he didnt tell me and he dont want to tell me.
what i mean is that there is a solution for sure.
here is the solution after long long long tries with my iphone:
go to General - Cellular - Cellular data network:
in Cellular Data u need to put :
APN
Username
Password
add the APN, username and password
go down
U will see Internet Tethering
in internet tethering add the same APN, Username and password
go back to the settings page, wait a minute and Personal Hotspot will appear again.
