Time Capsule IP Address Problems

I recently changed ISP's and moved my TC to the living room. I tried to reconnect the TC to the new modem from the ISP and for some reason im having trouble connecting to the internet. I called my ISP and they told me that it wasnt working because there are 2 IP Addresses for the TC.

I called Apple and the "over the phone" assistance option was out of warranty and im coming on here to try and find out what i can do so that the TC has only the one IP Address that the IPS needs.

PLEASE HELP!!!

P.S. Do i have 2 IP Addressed because i changed IPS's?

Thank you!

Perhaps..

We need some info..

What broadband do you have, cable adsl fiber etc. ??

I am thinking perhaps adsl.. anyway..

What modem do you have? Is it working as a router?

Is the TC setup in router or bridge?

If you don't know press and hold the reset and do the setup again.

If the ISP supplied you a modem router.. set the TC up in bridge mode.

If the ISP supplied you a pure modem (usually cable service), then setup the TC in router mode with dhcp.

You might need to reboot the whole network to get it working again.
