Well i've read about parallel in this forum and most
people say it's not reliable to use it.

IMNHO, thats a bunch of FUD, and it works great.

I haven't heard anything about Q.app is it a good PC
emulator?

Its open source, and pretty decent. Not nearly as fast as Parallels, but functional and faster than GuesPC, which would be brutally, unbearably slow.

It's still beta, as with Boot Camp, so one can expect some issues, but I'm optimistic that it will prove to be the thing I'm looking for: Concurrent Mac OS / Windows.

But that said, I've been so-far reluctant to install it on my own MacBook, where I most need it. However, I'm now reconsidering that reluctance, since this is my first laptop / notebook / portable and it has not yet become an integral part of my everyday computing use, it seems this is the time to be experimental, not later when there might be more to lose. So I'm going to be giving it a try soon.
