Siri slow with iOS 6 update

I have an iPhone 4S, when I updated to iOS 6 Siri got really slow. REALLY SLOW. Like its faster to go into my music and find a song manually than have Siri do it because it takes forever. I know it recognizes what I'm saying because it shows my words after I say them, then the microphone button spins for a long time before I get a response. Is anyone else having this issue?

I'm thinking at this point that it's a server issue. The phone is now more popular than ever and bazillions of people are trying to use Siri. Siri herself, in the phone is not all that smart. It seems that she needs to go to the server for every instruction. If the server is loaded up, slow response. Other times she is lightning quick. Doubt there's anything we can do to fix except complain!

Same issues. Seems strange. I'm coming from a 4 to a 5 so this is my first time using Siri. The first couple days Siri seemed to work pretty well. The one day it just hit a wall. When I'm already in a message coversation it works well dictating my messages but if I want to start one, forget it. Takes forever to recognize the person I want to message. Doing internet seaches or restaurants, maps, etc... Forget it. 45-60 seconds. I could dial 411 and get quicker responses. And the voice activated calling is terrible. Again, it takes forever to figure out who I want to call and that if it even gets it correct. I wish I could diable Siri just on that function alone. The old school voice dialing worked spot on for me for years. Whats going on?!?!
