Random applications save things to the iCloud -- how can I find out what is there

I keep finding random applications have saved stuff to iCloud usually because I have made a typo or hit return at the wrong time.

However, I have yet to find a way to find out what is stored in iCloud so that I can delete them and put them where they can be found.

I have not found a way to have finder show me the files in iCloud.
