Repaired permissions with Disk Utility?

Oct 3, 2012 6:47 PM in response to Limnosby umaize,Yes, I am on 10.6.8. The installer fails before the reboot, but I have rebooted several times as I try to fix the issue. I have not repaired permissions.. I am not entirely sure how to do that. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Mac OS X: Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions messages that you can safely ignore - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1448 - Mac OS X 10.5, Mac OS X 10.6, Mac OS X Server 10.5, Mac OS X Server 10.6 - mostly a bunch of SUID warnings.The other thing is to make sure the installer file isn't corrupt. Try downloading another copy.
