I am no longer able to download FREE apps. It pops up saying I need to verify my banking information. When I go to my banking information, it tells me it's wrong, and I know it's not. HELP!!! I can't download ANY apps - FREE or otherwise! What is going on???

Is it possible the expiration date for your credit card recently changed, or you got a new card with an updated authorization code? If nothing has changed recently in Settings > iTunes & App Stores, click on your Apple ID, go to billing information and delete the card, re-enter it, save and try again to download apps.
you had a past due amoutn and when itunes tried to pull the money out you didnt have the fund in your account. You will need to use a different payment method and then you will be able to use that card again. Use a gift card to pay the past due. I promise thats the reason
It's not my card. I re-entered everything and it's correct. But WHY would I even need to put my card info in for FREE apps??
because your account was initially set up with payment by credit card. If it was initially set up with no credit card information you would be able to download free apps
There is something else wrong. I rejects my credit card security code. I've never paid for an app so I'm not delinquent or have a negative balance. I used to be able to download with no issues, but I did the iOS6 upgrade and now nothing works
go to www.appleid.apple.com and then to maange my account and have a look at the settings there. you may be able to see whats if anything is wrong there
Nope, none of that works. I changed my password, updated my address, deleted my credit card info and re-entered and it says my security code is wrong. Grrrrrrr What is the flippin problem?!
