Account problem

On some appications on my mac it says I still have a mobile me account on messages and mail and other applications How do I remove the MobileMe account since its closed? I want to remove it so it doesnt show up on my ipod or other devices😟

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1)

UPDATE: This issue has been solved I went to

https://appleid.apple.com/

and then I clicked Manage your Apple ID

and clicked Name, ID, and Email Addresses
