Why does my "SS" USB cable not fit into my MBPR's USB port? Please help... Thanks 🙂

By SS, do you mean USB 3.0?

Your Retina Macbook Pro has two USB 3 ports and they are the standard type. Have you tried flipping it?

I have fixed it thanks, the problem was a piece of USB port from my last computer that broke off inside the cable. It broke off in a way that it looked like it was part of the cable. I took it out and now it works perfectly 🙂 Thanks for helping
