If you're running Mac OS X 10.5.8 on a PowerPC Mac, no further upgrades are available.

If you're running Mac OS X 10.5.8 on an Intel Mac, phone the online Apple Store and order a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD.

If you're running Mac OS X 10.6.8, you need to purchase the upgrade from the Mac App Store.

What are you trying to upgrade - what model Mac - and what upgrade do you want?

If Software Update reports you have all its updates, then you do.

An upgrade is a new operating system thay you have to buy. Which one you can install depends on your model Mac.
