No network (WiFi & Ethernet) on 10.8.X + gathered tips!

Since the update from 10.7 to 10.8 I am having no network connection. Not only on my intranet but also on the internet.

I have gathered a lot of user tips and share them with you in this post. If any off these suggestions work for you please net us know. Iff you have another tip. Please be so kind to post them. I will try to keep this post up-to-date for a few weeks.

Also if you are experiencing the same issue as I am please be so kind to place them in this post. Hopefully this will activate Apple to create a fix.

Tip:

Hi vkehayas,

Thank you for your reply. Yes I do get an ip adress and I have also tried both suggestions last week but with no luck. It's only my iMac. Strange by the way: It's now running 10.5.8 with a perfect connection, but when I try to use the restore partition it says that it has no connection.
