How do I organise iTunes music alphabetically by artist surname rather than by Christian name?

The default is to organise the library by artist Christian name but I'd rather use surname as the key instead, like a proper index. How do I make the change?

You will have to change the artist field labels to read "Stewart, Rod" instead of "Rod Stewart". I don't think there is an automatic way to do this otherwise you would end up with "Straits, Dire" instead of "Dire Straits". Check the Dougscripts web site in case there is a secript that may help. You will still have to manually select which tracks to which to apply the change.
