Nike Fuel Band can't pair to iPhone5
Nike Fuel Band doesn't appear on the list of the bluetooth device even if both are turned discovery mode on. It used to work with iPhone 4 though.

I have same problem. I cannot pair Nike fuelband to Iphone 5. Fuelband still pairs with iPhone4. iPhone5 pairs with Mac, so BT is working on phone and fuel band. Just not between fuelband and iphone5. I tried to pair the fuelband with another iPhone 5 and no connection. Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this please?
Got it to work after calling Nike+. Easy process, took 2 minutes
1.) On iPhone 5, Settings> Bluetooth> Bluetooth "on" then allow it to search.
2.) On Fuelband+ Hold down button till Sync appears, keep holding Bluetooth icon will appear and start blinking
Be patient, it worked in about 5 seconds.
Wasn't an iOS6 issue, used that on updated iPhone 4S, just had to "re-sync" my iPhone5 this morning and wa-lah, we're in business.
Hope this helps, felt stupid when Nike+ explained it to me, had to share. Now I'm off to see if I can sync new phone with my BMW...
It revealed my phone working stolidly. Same way I have tried these days and the bluetooth icon just disappeared in 2-3 seconds instead of blinking.
Tom330, your suggested solution worked. Thanks
You've gotta hold the button down till the sync goes away and a Bluetooth icon comes up blinking. Give it 5-10 more seconds with the button down. Be patient, it'll appear.
Also, you might have to reset the FuelBand. If you hold the button down for 10-15 seconds it'll give you this option. I did that earlier, before I called Nike+, and it might have been why this process worked.
If that doesn't do it, call Nike+. Contact info is on the App for iPhone or on the computer. They were VERY helpful
once the icon appears you need to press the button once, and then it will start blinking.
I reset my fuelband through my mac. Then rebooted my iPhone 5. Then went to bluetooth and the iPhone found the fuelband no problem. Click on the fuelband panel on the iPhone and then press and hold the fuelband button, the bluetooth icon will appear and they should pair no problem.
Thanks tom330 - your suggestion fixed my problem!
I had difficulties connecting to the iPhone5 as well.
After downloading
http://nikeplus.nike.com/nikeplus/nikeconnect/installers/macosx/Nike+Connect.dmg
to the computer, and after the fuelband was fully charged, I just followed the easy steps.
Holding down the button to pair the devices, and typing in personal settings, that was it and I could start.
