Google street view is back on iPhone and iPad!

Yes, it's true!

From today, google has added street view to its maps which are accessed through your devices browser.

To access street view just open up safari, go to google maps and enter a location in the search bar. Once there, tap the peg man at the bottom right and hey presto!! Street view is there!!

Enjoy!

It works but not as well. You have to do a search to get a pushpin / marker, then you can click on the pegman to enter streetview mode. But it only worked some of the time. Out of the first two addresses I tested it only worked on one (and I know there is streetview at both). Also, there's no way to move the pushpin / marker on the map. Hopefully this can be fixed or will not be an issue once the app is released.

Tested on my Iphone 3GS w/ IOS 5.1.1 and Safari Browser
