AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext fails to load!

iTunes 10.7 iMac 27'' 10.6.8 | I need USB tethering back!

I red all and everything about it... swaping the file from a backup - reinstalling iTunes...

But when I look in system - extensions - it's just not running.

If I try to :

$ sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext

it fails to load it...

No wonder I can't see the iPhone 3GS in the network settings.

I've been using this for ever.

iMac was on 10.6.8

Problem came before my iPhone update to iOS6

Came when i updated iTunes to 10.7... that was necessary to update the iPhone.

Man... Tell me there's a AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext file available somewhere to swap the ''broken'' new one.
