I repeatedly get an error that the downloaded file was corrupted during the download when I attempt to download and install iOS5.1.1 onto my iPod Touch 3g, using iTunes 10.7. What alternatives do I have?

iPod touch (3rd generation), iOS 4.3.3

I don't actually know the location of the downloaded file... it's taking place within iTunes and not showing me where it's placing the file (or even what the file name is!)... I disconnect and re-connect the device to the PC, and try to re-run the download. It goes through the motions of downloading the file again; it takes just as long to go through the download, then comes up with the same error. I've performed a full re-start of the device and the PC. I've confirmed internet connectivity. iTunes is functional otherwise; the iPod touch is functional; the PC is otherwise operating normally... I'll try using the information provided in the link you provided above... THANKS!
