iCal doesn't display March 2013

When trying to open March 2013 on iCal the app crashes and closes down. It works fine on my iPhone and I have made diary entries for March but when I try to open it on my iPad it crashes. I have tried accessing March in various different ways, but no joy.

Any suggestions?

Apple are not here, only fellow users.

Try removing any all-day events from the calendar for the 1st April 2013 e.g. if you syncing the calendar from iCal/Calendar on your Mac then change it to a timed event instead of all-day (if you don't sync your calendar from anywhere then try going into list view, go to 1st April and change any 'all day' events to times e.g. change Easter Monday to start at something like 4am) - it seems that there is a problem with all day events on that date which is when the clocks change due to daylight saving.

Yes I am another user with this prob. Latest iPad. I can confirm that it's April fool, any all day event non that date crashes it. I have had to unsubscribe to my UK holidays and DE Holidays as there are all day events on 1/4.

Ridiculous, can you imagine how may less tenacious people there are that cannot use March??????

It's a glitch that has to do with April 1 being the start of daylight savings time, and the iPad calendar app struggling to reconcile 'all day events' on a day whose length varies. If you're in the US, most of the country will have a 23 hour say, but not Arizona for example, whose day is 24 hours since they don't acknowledge daylight savings time.

And then there are other countries that eitehr ignore daylight savings time, or who start theirs at different weekends....and when that hour precisely vanishes.....

computers are stupid. The calendar can't reconcile that an hour simply goes missing so it responds by crashing the month (largely because it probably can't figure out exactly when March ends.
