- I press back up it goes through to sync, says its done...then nothing saves help
MY step son's music is there even if his phone isn't plugged in, but mine isn't.
My itunes with over 5 years of music from cds etc got deleted.....and now it won't save off my phone grr.
iTunes will transfer the purchases made from the iTunes Store from your iPhone to your computer. It treats all other music syncing as a one-way street, to comply with copyright laws.
But, you can import the other songs from a computer backup or rip them from a CD again.
Follow the instructions given here, they will enable you to transfer your purchases and other music from your iPhone back to your computer.
