okay so im suppose to get my aunts old iPhone 3g and idk whats the difference between those two. Does 3g have notification center and things like that. does it have the backgrounds and stuff and whats the farthest it updates to? im talking about teh 3g. thx.
3G - highest iOS is 4.2.1
3GS - highest iOS is iOS 6 and still receivig updates
3GS has better camera, Voice Control...
The iPhone 3G does not support notification center nor backgrounds. That came in later versions of iOS and the 3G will only support iOS 4.2.1. The 3GS will support the other as it supports iOS 6.
