My MacBook is groggy

When using a browser the browser and the OS slow down. Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Hi There,

I have 8GB of memory and almost 130 Gigs of space left. Could it be Spyware?

Unlikely spyware is the cause. Which browser do you use, and have you tried another browser to see if you have the same symptoms? Chrome, Opera, and Firefox are other browsers, if you're using Safari.
