MacBook Pro does not recognize any iPhones

One of my MACs (a MacBook Pro) does not recognize any of my iPhone5s...and my other MACs do using the same cable...I do get the Apple USB connection sound when I plug the cable into the MAC...the MAC does recognize iPhone4s on both USB ports...

Ran a Software Update and the MAC is up to date....now what?
