Problem with Korg Oasys

The Korg Oasys is an impressive synth but I'd like to use Logic still to control it. One feature is the KARMA generator--sort of a super arpegiator. Anyway, the Oasys does not send OUT the notes KARMA generate when the Oasys is set to "Local control off" which is the usual setting when you're using the Logic to generate tones to prevent repeat of the same notes in/and out. Can you think of a work around that allows me to keep the Oasys keyboard in Local Contol ON and yet not have duplicate notes generated?
