turn off voice over on iphone 4,
Once I get to the GENERAL screen, it will not slide down to get to ACCESSIBILITY!? How do I make it slide up or down when voice over is on?

iPhone 4
Press the Home Button 3 Times
iPhone: Configuring accessibility features (including VoiceOver and Zoom)
OK, that takes me back to main screen?
Read the Link I posted
I did and it will NOT let me slide down to ACCESSIBILITY menu. Everything I read says turn it off from Accessbility - I CANNOT get to accessibility menu!! (sorry to sound bitchy!) but this is making me crazy!!!
After I did the three finger swipe (which did not slide the screen), everything is all screwed up; if I triple click the SETTINGS icon, my MESSAGES opens up .......
Apple recommends using iTunes to turn on or off the accessibility features of the device.
However...
If VoiceOver is on and you want to turn it off from the device instead of from iTunes, remember that a double-tap acts like a single tap and you need to use three fingers to scroll when VoiceOver is on:
I have been using three fingers! (but mostly ONE Finger 😉 ) and it was not working. Someone I just used three, and then two and then double tapped..........actually I have no idea what I just did - but I got to ACCESSIBILITY and turned that ($*#)($* thing off!!!
Thank you!!!
Glad you got there in the End...
This works! Thank you.
It does need three finger to swipe once and then a two finger swipe once. That part was still hard for getting to the accessibility screen. But got there!!!!!
