iTunes backup - can you restore to a previous backup

Is there anyway to restore to a backup previous to the one most currently done. I think something went wrong with my backup

and when I restored my iphone all my photos were lost.

To restore data from a previous backup, use one of the following methods after connecting your iPhone to the computer with which you normally sync:


Right-click (or Control-click) the device and choose Restore from Backup

If you have a new phone, you can connect to iTunes and it will prompt to restore from your backup Solution from Apple.com: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766


If you have no backup for your data on iPhone, iPhone Data Recovery software is your last shot! There are also other options available.
