Reconnecting referenced files with different file names?

I have my referenced files on a Drobo and I'm using Aperture 3.4 on an iMac with a 256 GB SSD.

Since my SSD drive isn't large enough to hold the originals, import into Aperture and rename, I place the RAWs on a Drobo and use a referenced libary.

After I drop my files on my Drobo, I import them with a new filename that highlights the client's event (i.e. Smith Wedding 001 vs. JAP_7321). I sent out a job for processing and once I got the library back, I merged the library and the images were offline. I figured no problem. I'll locate the referenced files and reconnect them.

Well, since they have different file names, it isn't showing the "Reconnect All" button once I match up the files.

Any ideas on how to reconnect referenced files that have different file names from the originals?

Thanks,

Jerome
