Whenever I'm using my iPad,it will pop back to the home screen.it could be I'm playing games,checking my mail or surfing the web.im using only half of my storage.i tried to turn it off but it didn't seem to help.

Try a hard reset. It doesn't hurt. You never know...
press the home and sleep/wake buttons together for 10 seconds, until you see the apple logo (dismiss the shutdown screen)
